Liota, an open source SDK and framework, eases the development of gateway applications for moving data from devices to data centers and executing commands from data center components. Gateway applications de-couple the end point from the datacenter, enabling a nimbler, real-time experience – crucial for applications that cannot tolerate latency or delay.
At this hackathon, you will:
- Install and use Liota in the context package manager, Windowing & filtering and visualizing using Graphite (an open source time-series metric graphing utility and Project ICE (VMware’s IoT Infrastructure Management Technology).
- In the end there will be an open challenge to implement data center component class for sending metrics to any other IoT platform of choice which will be taken as Open Source Contribution.
