The most significant transformational changes in industry so far have been triggered by technological advancements – shifts of magnitude high enough to be called ‘revolutions’. The next industrial revolution is happening now, and powering it is a wave of technology innovations that are unprecedented. Each revolution in the past has brought about a fundamental change in the way industry operates, efficiency of operations and the scaling needed to be useful in the society but this time it is going to be beyond just industry. This is going to touch the lives of every one of us – in how we behave, how we interact with our environment and other people, and how objects and people blend into a unified system resulting in an unprecedented efficiency every system. The resultant effect is not just for individuals, systems but for nations as well. This new industrial revolution will increase the GDP of nations that adopt this change most quickly and most comprehensively.

Venkat Mattela

Venkat Mattela is an innovator and a global business strategist with over 30 years of engineering and management experience in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Mattela built talented teams across the globe to develop multiple world -class industry -first semiconductor and system products. Prior to Redpine, Mr. Mattela was at Network Media Platforms Group of Analog Devices as Director and was responsible for the product, strategy and business development for media wireless connectivity technologies. He also led the VLSI development from concept engineering to release of multiple industry leading networking silicon products resulting in a multi -million -dollar product line. Prior to joining Analog Devices, Mr. Mattela was at Infineon Technologies as Director and was responsible for the micro – architecture and design of TriCore MCU -DSP processor. He led the team to take the architecture to multiple silicon implementations. Mr. Mattela started his career at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India in January 1983 and held various engineering positions at LSI Logic, LMSI and CMC Ltd. Mr.Mattela has aMaster’sDegree in ComputerSciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India and holds 11 US patents.
